Landscape Architect (Maternity Cover)

This leading specialist consultancy is seeking to appoint an exceptional,
well-rounded candidate to work from their offices in Warwickshire.
The key features of the role are as follows:
- Conducting all aspects of landscape projects from initial design, through
detail drawing production, preparation of tender documents to running
contracts on site.
- Maintain good relations with existing clients (internal and external), and
potential clients
- Manage a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that
the appropriate quality of work is delivered in line with client expectations.
- To take on any associated project work to assist the smooth running of the
business
Candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Developing and proven skills in urban design, large scale masterplanning
or regeneration work with an emphasis on Design for Construction.
- Evidence of having originated landscape and visual impact assessments as
part of Environmental Impact Assessment submissions
- A post-graduate degree or professional qualification, preferably to a Part
IV Landscape Architect standard
- An honours degree in an appropriate subject, ideally in environmental
sciences, ecology, or land-based sciences (forestry, agriculture,
horticulture)
- Excellent written English, able to put together credible and persuasive
proposals
- Skilled in working in a team environment
- Able to demonstrate a high level of competency in AutoCAD as well as hand
drawn work
- Accustomed to pricing and reviewing consultancy projects
- First class presentational skills
- Able to interpret and meet the requirements of a diverse customer base
- An appreciation of the importance of recording and controlling costs,
particularly with regard to achieving charge-out targets
