Team Leader: Environmental PlanningLocation: GlasgowOur client is a global consultancy providing sustainable solutions to clients in both the public and private sectors. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Environmental Planner to join their team in Glasgow. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and further developing an existing small team within the Renewables, EIA and SEA markets. You must possess a core planning degree, and will preferably have an interest / experience in the Marine and Energy sectors. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of in house specialists, who are involved in a variety of interesting projects. Suitable candidates will possess between 10 and 15 years experience, preferably within consultancy. You will have sound project management skills, along with extensive knowledge of current environmental legislation and best practice guidance. You will be a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and preferably a full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
