Noise / Acoustic Consultant

Salary: Up to £24,000
We have a vacancy for an acoustic consultant to work within the consultancy division of our client.
The role involves the assessment of noise and vibration and providing suitable advice with regards to the control of noise within a varied number of fields. These fields include noise surveys and assessments for commercial and residential development; control of noise breakout and building acoustics; noise at work assessments; sound insulation tests and general acoustic design issues relating to the built environment.
All candidates are expected to have a degree either in acoustics or a scientific / engineering discipline, along with practical experience of working within an acoustic consulting or larger engineering company. Candidates who possess the IoA Diploma in Acoustics will also be considered provided they have some previous or current practical experience of acoustics.
All candidates are expected to be corporate or associate members of the Institute of Acoustics and to hold a full UK driving licence.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
