Principal Acoustic Consultant (Power sector)

Scotland, North of England, or Ireland
Our client is a global company providing consulting, design and delivery services to clients across multiple sectors - including Infrastructure, Mining and Metals, Power and Energy, Water and Environment.
They are eager to make a key strategic appointment to work alongside their EIA & Planning teams focusing on the power and wind energy sectors.
As Principal Consultant you will take project lead and delivery responsibility for all Acoustic / Noise work conducted in the North of England, Ireland and Scotland. As such, the location for the successful candidate can be flexible around these geographies. The successful applicant will be given a great deal of autonomy to run the business / build a team as they see fit.
You will be a suitably experienced consultant in managing both clients and acoustic / noise projects in the wind / renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have some public inquiry experience and be able to provide in depth expert witness advice to clients.
The project work is interesting and diverse - in addition to wind energy, the company are involved in projects within Biomass, Transmission, CCGT.
