BREEAM Assessor


Location: Sheffield, UK

Our clients Sheffield office provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary professional services employing around 150 technical staff. They now require a BREEAM Assessor to work alongside their growing Building Services Team covering Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and East Midlands.

The BREEAM Assessor will offer Consultancy services to compliment the Building Services team on various projects including Educational, Commercial, Residential, Military and mixed use.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Carrying out BREEAM Assessments
  • Provide sustainability solutions relating to the planning and development process
  • Manage all incoming enquiries for the Assessment teams throughout the company
  • Establishing fee proposals
  • Project management, such as health and safety, monthly reviews, billing, profit management etc
  • Providing input as part of wider sustainability agenda
  • Advising on legislative and future industry issues
  • Drafting and issuing reports
  • Communication and liaison with other team members on project details

Ideal candidates will have a BSc /BEng or HNC/D in related subject as well as BREEAM Accreditation. You will have experience of undertaking BREEAM assessments and be committed to the company's sustainability agenda. An understanding of Renewable Energy along with experience of working in or with a multi-disciplinary design consultancy is also required. It would be an avantage if you had knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act and how sustainability fits within this.
