They have produced a multitude of successful designs for city parks, business headquarters, campuses, resorts and open spaces. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-established, fully competent professional to join this international consultancy. This position involves acting as the leading technical contributor in some of the more complex and critical client situations, and may also act as Team Leader. As a Team Leader, the jobholder may be leading a small team of people with responsibility for day-to-day supervision of staff, management of individual performance and scheduling of resources. As an established professional, the jobholder develops and maintains high credibility and influence inside the company and within the clients' organisation and interfaces up to senior management level and possibly Board level. The role involves significant project responsibility with the jobholder leading projects with considerable impact, proactively managing change requests and identifying risks. The role also involves identifying opportunities to leverage the company’s expertise in the marketplace and delivering presentations as a technical expert to peer groups, senior management, clients and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be a Member of the Landscape Institute and be Part IV qualified with considerable experience. This vacancy would suit an individual with broad knowledge of landscape issues but with an emphasis on landscape planning issues and or urban design; flexible and committed with proven technical knowledge and the ability to manage a team of professionally qualified staff, project resources and budgets. As well as assisting the team leader and office director in achieving the office business plan objectives/targets, this is an ideal opportunity for a candidate seeking to expand their experience working with other professional disciplines on a daily basis; planners, ecologists, environmental scientists, archaeologists and engineers.
