Contaminated Land Scientist

Salary :£24 - 28K

Our client is looking for a Contaminated Land Scientist to be based in either the London, Surrey or Bristol. The role will be office-based with work on site when required.

The main responsibilities of this post will include the preparation of conceptual models, data evaluation (including statistical analysis), human health risk assessment tools and report preparation.

Successful candidates will: -

• Be qualified with BSc and MSc degrees in geology, hydrogeology, biology, geography, environmental science or other related field (or equiv.)
• Should have strong, relevant contaminated land experience (Phase 1 + Phase 2, including site work)
• You should have experience of developing conceptual models using the Source-Pathway-Receptor methodology and basic working knowledge of risk assessment tools
• Familiarity with Part 2A and other associated contaminated land guidance and willingness to work on site, as required, are an advantage
