This international organisation are looking to recruit an Ecologist to join their established team. The successful applicant will provide specialist advice, protected species assessment, habitat management in connection with infrastructure projects and site restoration and rehabilitation, specialist services for planning applications and environmental impact assessments. The team also provide an expert witness service in support of public enquiries, appeals and tribunals.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role and be responsible for producing survey reports & nature conservation assessments & undertaking field surveys. Experience should include Phase 1 habitat survey capability and knowledge of protected species. Experience of EIA would be beneficial, as would a survey licence for one or more protected species. Opportunities exist at various office locations across the South of England and the company can be flexible in terms of location to accommodate suitable candidates.
