Contaminated Land Consultant

Our client is currently seeking a Contaminated Land Consultant to be primarily based from their London office.

The role may also require the jobholder to work from other offices across the UK. The role will be extremely varied ranging from managing a range of small to large contaminated land projects, mostly within the property acquisition sector. The company operates a cradle to grave approach, and encourage all staff to maintain an involvement throughout the lifetime of the project, and become actively involved in the management and client liaison. The role will also involve liaison with colleagues across the wider company network, regulatory authorities and clients.

Required Skills

• BSc (and MSc preferred) in Geology/Environmental Science\Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Confident personality with good time management skills
• Proficient at managing and writing Phase 1 Environmental Reviews
• Proficient at undertaking site inspections at a range of facilities/operations in the UK
• Experienced in setting up and managing a basic to complex Phase II site investigations, including portfolios of sites.
