The ecology team of this renowned consultancy has a strong profile within the company and due to demand for its services it is seeking to expand further through the recruitment of experienced ecologists. With a team of 14 permanent staff spread over various offices the company provides a comprehensive range of services to a diverse mix of clients. In addition to the provision of high quality ecology consulting services you will be expected to take a key role in business development and team management. The development of your own areas of expertise will be encouraged. You will be provided with an environment where opportunities for personal career progression, both as a member of staff and as a professional ecologist are excellent. Whilst the Associate grade position will typically be held by someone with greater than 7 years experience in consultancy, the Principal position would be an individual of 10 or more years experience. Full membership of IEEM is essential with CEnv preferable. Technical Skills/Abilities You will have a strong track record of consultancy work with technical experience/expertise in Ecological Impact Assessment and preferably significant survey and mitigation experience of one or more protected species. You will also have proven experience of project, client and staff management and for the Principal role Public Inquiry experience would be advantageous. Qualifications / Professional Membership
