Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary :£33 - 40K+

An outstanding opportunity has arisen within a leading international consultancy for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on rail related projects.

The successful must be familiar with Network Rail standards and Form A requirements. You will be expected to undertake site work in engineering hours on a regular basis including bank holidays, nights and weekends. The right candidate will be able to work with contractors advising on suitable solutions to reactive earthworks stabilisation and then to undertake analysis and reporting in the office to support the site design.

Desirable Qualifications

MSc in geotechnical engineering

Essential Qualifications

BSc in civil engineering or engineering geology

Essential Experience

Rail earthworks design and implementation of remedial designs

Personal Characteristics

Strong personality to be able to deal with contractors
