The Environment Team of this leading consultancy has a new opportunity for a Landscape Architect to reinforce the company's landscape architecture service, offering provision of landscape advice and assessment on development proposals and infrastructure schemes, including undertaking landscape and visual assessments and producing reports. The successful applicant will provide landscape design services, including masterplanning and preparation of technical and working drawings and specifications. Undertake project management of landscape projects and contract administration and assist in the preparation of bids for landscape work. You will need to be able to demonstrate good use of IT in completing tasks and the ability to use AutoCad. The ability to use graphic design software would be an advantage Working within a team of landscape architects, ecologists, planners, sustainability and EIA specialists, you will assist in managing and mentoring the landscape team. You will work on landscape aspects of road schemes, educational schemes and infrastructure projects; undertake and plan landscape character assessments and landscape and visual impact assessments. You will possess excellent design and written and graphic presentation skills, coupled with experience in project management and be able to communicate with clients and statutory bodies. You will also need to be able to work in an organised way with a methodical yet innovative approach, the ability to meet deadlines and also make a positive contribution toward the team effort in achieving their objectives.
