Associate Sustainability Engineer

An Associate Sustainability Engineer is required to work within the Building
Services Team of this international organisation.
Objectives of the role: -
- Take an entrepreneurial approach to creating sustainable solutions further
raising the client profile for design excellence - Assist with winning and
successfully delivering exciting, high profile projects (may also include some
international work)
- Continue to inspire and improve design quality within the team.
- Fully maximise architectural and client networks to further enhance the
company's profile
Responsibilities will include: -
- Pro-actively help manage and motivate the design team in all aspects of
successful project delivery, providing architects and clients with
inspirational, 'buildable' solutions that offer best value for money.
- Adopt a highly creative design philosophy that fully respects
sustainability
- Assist in the bid process to win profitable, new work.
- Continue to build and maintain a high profile client and architect network
- Maintain excellent, effective working relationships with clients and
project teams, encouraging repeat business and further strengthening the
brand.
- Ensure design compliance with legislation, codes etc by being fully
conversant with all relevant Health & Safety aspects. - Keep up to date with
developing best practice.
- Help grow the team with creative, commercially aware building services
engineers
- Build your profile as an Ambassador for the business (eg. leading to
speaking at or attending conferences).
- Attend presentations to win new work (incl compiling design competitions).
- Ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
- Optimise resource efficiency and utilisation
- Take an active role in the Sustainability and Building Services
communities, through national forums to share best practice and pursue joint
initiatives.
- Act as a role model and professionally develop team members.
- Keep up to date with developing best practice and technological
advancement
- Reinforce their Client's culture, embrace their business drivers
Candidate Profile
As a Chartered Building Services Engineer, you will have an evolving
reputation in the UK Commercial markets. Known for your great ideas, you will
already have a successful track record for delivering highly creative, complex
project solutions. An ambitious individual, you will be keen to embrace a career
opportunity that will enable you to take your design and technical ability to a
