Our client is a small specialist environmental and geotechnical consultancy who are currently involved in a number of exciting projects. They have an excellent opportunity for a Principal/Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their rapidly expanding environmental consulting team in London. The successful candidate will lead a small but expanding sustainability team and will be expected to assume responsibility for the technical inputs, marketing, and business development for sustainability issues within the London Office, including BREEAM/ EcoHomes and the Code for Sustainable Homes, energy assessment and efficiency, renewable energy services, carbon management and other fields applicable to environmental sustainability issues. Candidates should have a first degree in a suitable subject and at least 3 years experience in a sustainability consultancy role. Experience with BREEAM assessments is essential and a current licence should be held for at least one scheme, preferably BREEAM Education and/or Code for Sustainable Homes. A relevant masters degree and appropriate professional memberships would be an advantage. A competitive salary package is offered, commensurate with experience.
