Job Location : Location: Egypt - office based.

Due to expansion in activities and recent asset acquisitions, an International Energy Company is seeking to resource a Reservoir Engineering Specialist for a role which offers the opportunity of career progression.

Summary of Role

• Report to Technical Manager with the remit of providing Reservoir engineering expertise for optimizing the performance of assigned assets through the appropriate development, acquisition and / or divestment.
• Provide expert reservoir engineering and economic analysis and related advise to support Company's business development of existing projects and new venture projects including evaluate all types of investment, for economic justification and robustness.
• Assist management in evaluation of exploration, development and exploitation programmes.
• Perform technical audits.
• Participate in corporate peer reviews.
• Represent Company at Technical and Operating Committee Meetings, workshops, farm out presentations and industry technical conferences to ensure that the Company's strategic, technical and financial aims are met.
• Represent company at Governmental and Joint Venture partner meetings.
• Training / mentoring of Junior Engineers.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

• BSc Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in Petroleum / Reservoir Engineering functions, ideally in the employment of an operator (Reservoir Engineering and Field Development). This should include both reservoir engineering and field developments along with expertise in reservoir modeling.
• International project experience.
• Team leadership experience.
