Commercial / Business Development Manager



Location: The Gulf States

Company: International Energy Company

An International Energy Company is seeking to resource a Commercial / Business Development Manager who will be assigned to the Gulf States on a permanent residential expatriate family status contract.

This is regarded as a key role within our client's organisation and will report to the Board of Directors.

Summary of Role

Performing required functions to identify, evaluate, promote and pursue the company's strategic plan and objectives in conjunction with Corporate Planning department.

Identify and create opportunities that fit within the company's strategic plan.
Contact international Companies and government entities.
Create innovative options or commercial models that promote new business.

Portfolio Valuation: Co-ordinate with Corporate Planning in maintaining economic and commercial valuation on individual projects and assets within the company's portfolio.

Co-ordinate the company's marketing and commercial efforts relating to potential and existing assets.

Intelligence gathering: Assist in proactive collection of information relating to political, commercial, industrial and corporate data that will contribute to the company's strategic thinking and planning.

Strategic Partnerships

Investigate, analyse and develop strategic corporate alliances that will contribute to and enhance the company's strategic management of assets. Pursue opportunities to form alliances with other companies in the regions within the company's identified areas and consistent with the strategic plan.

Corporate Relations: Represent the company at Government and Partnership Meetings.

Qualifications / Experience:
  1. BSc degree in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, Economics, or associated discipline with 15 + years' experience in Petroleum & Exploration development programmes in various international settings.
  2. Experience should include a practical knowledge in the search for new opportunities as well as the techniques used in petroleum exploration, development and economic evaluation.

Employment Terms:
