My client is a leading service provider based in Scotland whose services include data processing, imaging and interpretation. They are currently recruiting for the position of Vice President Sales and Marketing.

This position is a senior managerial role, with a responsibility for the global growth of the Company sales and also the management of the sales team. Although having a global remit, the position is to be based in the Company's European office in Aberdeen.

The ideal candidate will be someone from a senior position within the Oil and Gas industry with the ability to lead, manage and grow a salesforce. They will already have had senior reporting responsibilities and will be an excellent communicator.

Desired skills and experiences required:

• Degree qualified
• Must have experience of conducting complex sales of new technology into the oil and gas industry, preferably in a geophysics environment
• High performance sales track record
• Have experience of managing and growing a salesforce including that of a remote workforce whilst maintaining quality, measuring and improving performance
• Senior reporting responsibilities
• Must understand understanding their business drivers
