Dimensions of position 1:

• Carry out subsurface technical work to provide the company with the best possible view of its current gas assets.
• Ensure a complete and QC'd dataset exists for each asset which is consistent and agreed with JV partners.
• Carry out 2D seismic structural and stratigraphic interpretation and mapping, 3D structural model building, volumetrics, risking and definition of work programs.
• Produce a quality and internally consistent structural model for each asset and a consistent set of products across all the assets.
• Work closely with the subsurface group to build structural and static reservoir models for resource estimation and input to dynamic modelling as required.

Requirements of position 1:

• Experience in gas fields, appraisal & development.
• 10-12 yrs industry to a senior technical level.
• Min BSc/MSc Geophysics/Geology.
• Proven record of leading successful exploration & prospect generation.
• Extensive 3D/2D seismic interpretation.
• Well-developed skills in structural geology in compressional settings.
• 2D/3DMOveLandmark suite, Petrel, Petrosys or GEOX exp.

Dimensions of position 2:

• Carry out subsurface technical work to provide the company with the best possible view of its current assets in UAE.
• Carry out 2D seismic structural and stratigraphic interpretation and mapping, 3D structural model building, volumetrics, risking and definition of work programs.
• Provide subsurface input to well planning and close monitoring of upcoming wells in both countries.
• Evaluate well results and implications for exploration strategy.
• Work with New Business and Exploration management team to continue to build understanding of exploration setting and opportunities.

Requirements of position 2:

• Regional geology experience + some structural.
• UAE experience.
• 10-12 yrs industry to a senior technical level.
• Min BSc/MSc Geophysics/Geology, Basin analysis skills, sedimentological skills (esp carbonates).
• Well-developed skills in structural geology in compressional settings.
• Extensive 2D/3D seismic interpretation.
• 2D/3DMOveLandmark suite, Petrel, Petrosys or GEOX exp.
