The opportunity

Our two year graduate development programme has been designed to prepare you for an international career, and to help you get ahead faster. You'll have direct contact with our senior managers and business leaders, and you'll enjoy exposure to our operations right across the gas supply chain. Individually tailored to your needs, the exact nature of the programme will depend on the technical or commercial knowledge you acquired during your first or higher degree and any previous work experience. It depends also on the specific requirements of the roles to which you're assigned and the path you want your future career to take.

The requirements

To join BG Group, you'll need to bring a strong academic record, a commitment to a career in our industry and the confidence to get involved in complex projects right from day one. Your degree subject could range from engineering or geosciences to a business-related subject - for technical areas, a higher degree is often required. The worldwide opportunities that are on offer mean you need to be open to working in different cultures, sometimes over prolonged periods in challenging environments. And as well as a willingness to work internationally, you'll need to bring an intrepid spirit, real intellectual ability, resilience, professional pragmatism and high levels of effectiveness.
