Bridge Energy is an Oil & Gas exploration and production company that holds production licenses in the UK (North Sea) Continental Shelf and exploration assets on both the UK and Norwegian Continental Shelves.

The successful Senior Geologist will be based in Aberdeen and will be responsible for the provision of geological support to the Exploration and Development departments. You will assist in the formulation and execution of technical programmes for licence rounds and operated licences and assets, as well as provide geological input into new business opportunity evaluations (data rooms and farm-ins). Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Construction and maintenance of static reservoir models using Petrel.
• Providing geological input into the operated exploration licences including well correlation and volumetric generation
• Prepare and present material as required by internally and to third parties (DTI/JV partners).
• Basin wide prospectivity to focussed prospect scale analysis for participation in licensing rounds.
• Technical evaluation of potential farm-ins and asset acquisition.
• Representing Bridge Energy at non-operated license meetings.
• Commissioning and management of consultants undertaking geological studies for Bridge Energy.

Who we're looking for

The successful Senior Geologist will be based in Aberdeen and must be educated to degree level, ideally MSc, in Geology or a related subject. You will have a proven track record in a similar Geologist position in the upstream Oil & Gas industry. You must also be able to demonstrate the following.

• Strong background within the oil industry, preferably with a North Sea operator.
• Exposure to drilling/well operations (well planning etc.).
• Sound working knowledge of Petrel software.
• Self starter with high energy levels.
• Good team-worker.
• Good communicator.
• Independent thinker.
