It's time for an experienced Chief Geologist to join our band of talent and take to the front stage in managing active 'frontier' exploration campaigns across the world. Your previous record must include a BSc in a Geoscience subject (minimum) and, preferably, an MSc or/and PhD in Geology/Petroleum Geology. You will be able to show us that you can;
- Provide detailed functional direction, advice and coaching to the Geoscience team
- Understand and communicate geoscientific interpretations for operated and non-operated fields
- Uphold the high quality and accuracy of static reservoir models
- Evaluate and provide input into organisational, financial, managerial and recruitment processes
- Plan, perform and analyse field development studies and evaluations
- Oversee and ensure that the highest standards and quality of support are provided to department managers on exploration tours
- Represent, communicate and support Cairn's philosophy on joint projects and when liaising with external parties
- Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and present presentations and supporting material (both verbally and written) to external parties, partners and stakeholders
