Who are we?

C&C was formed in 1994 and is the premier producer of high-quality reservoir and field analog data to the petroleum industry. We have offices in Maidenhead, Houston and Beijing, and around 30 subsurface scientists/engineers work for us at present.

Over recent years, we have expanded our portfolio of products to satisfy the needs of our 45 client companies worldwide and have recently been developing a Reservoir Performance Analog Knowledge System (REPAX) to compliment our successful global fields knowledge system, now widely used in the oil and gas industry. REPAX focuses on development strategies, production performance, and improved recovery methods and is designed to provide reservoir engineers with an invaluable benchmarking tool.

Who should apply?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to work on the development and implementation of REPAX in the C&C suite of products. The position will require a clear understanding of how the REPAX product would be used by reservoir engineers and others in client companies, the enthusiasm and willingness to test, refine and develop the product and an ability to make effective technical presentations to potential clients.

The position would be based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, although a significant amount of travel (up to 30%) would be envisaged to demonstrate the REPAX product to potential clients worldwide.

The position is seen as permanent and full time, although this is negotiable for the right applicant.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years experience, preferably in an oil company environment.
• MSc/PhD desirable but not essential
• Experience encompassing development/production geology and reservoir engineering
• Strong presentation skills.
• An ability to travel frequently.
