Technical Assistant
Location: Perth, Western Australia
Chevron Australia currently has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Assistant to join our Deepwater Gas department. This roles offer challenge and variety and will provide the opportunity to develop your career with one of the world's largest integrated energy companies.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- coordinating and distributing incoming and outgoing well and drilling data
- managing and developing the Deepwater Gas database systems
- generating accurate and timely technical reports
- providing assistance in the creation of geological maps
- creating spreadsheets and presentations as required.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- experience in a technical role and / or experience in the oil and gas industry
- sound IT knowledge including use of Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle databases and Visual Basic
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- confident interpersonal communication skills including excellent written and verbal skills
- tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- ability to work effectively at all levels of the business while fostering cooperation among stakeholders and employees.
