ConocoPhillips is looking for an outstanding Senior Drilling Engineer to join our dynamic team.

You will be reporting to the Lead Drilling Engineer and supporting an exciting new drilling campaign. Your key focus would be planning and engineering work, followed by field development conceptual planning.

Key Responsibilities:

This role will:

• Provide HSE leadership in engineering designs and support drilling operations in achieving HSE targets.
• Be Responsible for engineering, planning and permitting aspects of all drilling related operations and complying with all ConocoPhillips policies and processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets and AFE's.
• Interface with the HSE Department and provide necessary input for the preparation of regulatory/permitting documents. Preparing Applications to Drill and other government permits as required.
• Ensure that the wells are drilled in a safe, innovative, cost effective, and environmentally responsible manner with appropriate risk assessment and mitigation plans.

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate should have:

• Tertiary Qualification in Engineering.
• Strong working experience in floating drilling engineering/planning operations.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and developing operational procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
