We are seeking data analysts to join the scouting team at our Stonehouse office located in Gloucestershire, UK. The data analyst is responsible for gathering, interpretation, QC and entry of information relating to the upstream oil and gas industry into a GIS database system. Job Functions Information gathering Assist our regional experts in gathering E&P information to include current, planned and historic activity covering oil & gas licensing, seismic, drilling, field development, and production. Product generation Technical production of drilling Info's international product suite ensuring consistent information is delivered to weekly and monthly deadlines including map generation and contribution to editorial content. Promotion of DI International products Interfacing with clients and the industry to support the Drilling Info international product suite and promote DI International at industry events Qualifications and background Educated to degree level preferably in an earth science. Requires good IT skills, written & spoken English and some experience in databases and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Experience in upstream oil & gas industry and foreign language an advantage.
