The role is technically rewarding, interesting and varied. Some projects offer the opportunity to travel overseas.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to work in a dynamic environment where individual contributions are recognised and valued.

Position Requirements

The work will include:

  • Delivery of all project requirements against agreed scope, schedules and milestones.
  • Development and delivery of full project lifecycle including: project quotes, proposals, reporting, monitoring, evaluation, audit, learning and project completion including maintenance.
  • Development of schedules for procurement, fabrication and offshore installation.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects to strict deadlines, working with different clients and in different countries.
  • Working as part of a team, liaising with oceanographers, contractors and clients to ensure the highest technical standards are maintained throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Work with internal and external parties to ensure deliverable schedule is being met.
  • Ensure standard of services provided complies with company standards, processes and Client specifications.
  • Responsibility for effectively managing project budgets.
  • Build effective relationships with clients, including identifying marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinating and producing reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

BSc in marine science. IMarEST membership or qualifications suitable to gain this.

Be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous project management experience gained in a marine environment. Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • A high degree of initiative and attention to detail, along with good negotiation and decision making skills.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is vital.
  • By its very nature, this fast-moving role requires an inquisitive mind, flexibility and working to very tight deadlines.
