Geomodelling Services is a company specialising in geomodelling of the subsurface and related technologies for the oil and gas industry. The company is a well established independent consulting company with a good reputation for providing high quality personnel to major oil companies and creating excellent further career opportunities for staff.

We are now looking for experienced geologists or geophysicists with excellent Petrel modelling skills to work in asset or study teams, specialising in the construction and maintenance of 3D geological models for exploration, appraisal, field development or volumetric assessment, associated workflows and procedures, subsurface mapping, volumetric and reserves assessment and uncertainty analysis.

Education

Relevant good degree in geoscience, petroleum geology or mining geology, preferably with an appropriate second degree.

Experience/Special Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years relevant experience
• Expert and current knowledge of Petrel
• Experience of working within integrated field development, asset or study teams.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, computer literate,
• Team worker, good communication skills.

Other skills of special interest (one or more in addition to the above):

• Sedimentological expertise
• IT background / software development experience
• Knowledge and/or experience of reservoir simulation
• Experience of the application of Petrel in the Exploration domain
