A Support Geologist is required to join our successful Geological Support Services (GSS) team based onshore at our headquarters in Aberdeen. A permanent role, reporting directly to the GSS Support Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing software support, consultancy and training to HRH Clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited:

• Responsible for producing final well composite logs using geological and drilling data supplied by HRH Field Staff and Client to Client
• Liaise with Client to gather necessary data to ensure the finished product meets the required quality criteria
• Provide technical support to HRH software users via support helpdesk system
• Printing of well logs
• Designing customer well and log templates based on client requirements
• To assist with the testing of new versions of HRH software
• Digitising of hard copy well logs to produce digital data sets for use within Winlog/Gravitas
• To maintain Field Staff's laptop computers with assistance from IT Department
• To provide HRH software training courses in-house and overseas
• Carry out client geological bureau work
• To liaise with other departments within HRH as and when required.

The following key requirements are also applicable:

• Be educated to degree level in an Earth Science discipline
• Possess good communication and presentation skills
• Must be proficient in IT
• Have previous Oil and Gas industry experience
• Must be willing to travel.
