The successful applicant will hold a PhD degree in a subject related to economics and project management in the oil and gas industry, or will be able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience. Candidates with industry experience are particularly welcome to apply. • Economics of energy transition

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who has the capability to make positive contributions to teaching on IPE's MSc programmes, attract external funding, author high-quality publications, develop an independent research team, and can work in close collaboration with other disciplines (internally and externally) relevant to the oil and gas industry.

While this position is normally based on a full-time basis, a part-time appointment with a teaching focus could be negotiated under particular circumstances. The successful candidate will have a first degree in a cognate discipline and a PhD in a subject related to economics and project management in the oil and gas industry or can demonstrate equivalent (industry) experience.
