The MSc in Petroleum Geoscience is a twelve month course with an international reputation for excellence, delivered by experienced professionals who are acknowledged as experts in their field. The course provides a wide range of multi-disciplinary skills needed for the modern oil industry. Its unique collaborative links with a sister MSc course in Petroleum Engineering allows the course to cover the full spectrum of hydrocarbon exploration and production activities.

We warmly invite all interested applicants to attend the Open Day and learn more about the MSc course in Petroleum Geoscience. This will give you the opportunity to hear more about the programme, facilities, funding, career prospects and meet the academic staff and the current students. Also, all potential students will be interviewed for the available NERC and Industrial studentships.
