NEW MSc Course in Petroleum Geophysics

The new MSc course in Petroleum Geophysics is a twelve-month course for students wishing to prepare for careers or research in geophysics within the oil industry. The course will be delivered by professional experts who will provide access to, and training in, the very latest geophysical technology. The programme will have strong collaborative links with its sister petroleum-related MSc courses in Geoscience and Engineering, emphasising the multidisciplinary nature of modern oil exploration and production.

We warmly invite all interested applicants to attend the Open Day and learn more about the MSc course in Petroleum Geophysics. This will give you the opportunity to hear more about the programme, facilities, funding, career prospects and meet the academic staff and the current students. Also, all potential students will be interviewed for the available Industrial studentships.
