We are looking to recruit a tenacious and self motivated person to join our Field Research team. This role requires somebody who has knowledge of the Middle East Region and the oil and gas industry as well as having a keen eye for detail.

• Maintain the IRIS21 field database for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iran, Oman, Yemen and other countries as specified by the Regional Manager
• Create new discovery field records
• Research and reconcile all aspects of field data from multiple sources ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Help write Weekly Highlights and GEPS articles during Editor's absence
• Advise Regional Managers to our data needs for each country
• Present technical papers and posters at regional conferences
• Demonstrate IHS knowledge and expertise in the region

• Confident communication skills, both with other team members as well as our external clients.
• Professionalism and confidence to present.
• Ability to gather large volumes of data
• Ensure data completeness, consistency and accuracy between different database modules, particularly Basins and Wells
