We are looking to recruit a Regional Manager/Coordinator, who will have direct contact with government bodies in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, as well as liaising with staff in KL. The Regional Manager will be responsible for sourcing E&P information for the region as well as writing articles and assisting our sales and consulting teams.

This role requires a self motivated and dynamic candidate who will be able to travel regularly to attend conferences and other meetings. Membership of local and regional societies and attendance at meetings is also actively encouraged.

• Compilation and update of reports and meeting deadlines
• Feeding regular accurate information to the Daily Alert (DA) and International Oil Letter (IOL),
• The population and maintenance of the IRIS21 database and country regional maps.
• Regular communication with correspondents to ensure that information provided is accurate and relevant.
• Identify, hire and train replacement correspondents when necessary and seek opportunities to establish Data Exchange Agreements (DEA's).
• Be a point of call for information on all aspects of the energy industry in the region

Education/Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

• Extensive industry experience is essential
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• The candidate should always be looking for opportunities for IHS to increase it's presence in the region and to feed any potential sales leads to the relevant account managers.
• Highly customer service oriented.
• Flexible work hours and willingness to travel.
