A Global E&P Company spanning 40 countries and an active upstream and downstream operators continuing to grow its Norwegian assets along with their talented Exploration team.

They are active on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and partners many of the largest and most well known assets. They are also recognised as one of the most desirable employers within the Norwegian Oil and Gas Sector.

This new role will be responsible for evaluating exploration opportunities from their Stavanger office. Main duties include:

• Regional and semi Regional Evaluations in connection with licensing rounds and farm-in / out opportunities.
• Seismic Interpretation
• Evaluating exploration opportunities
• Prospect evaluations
• Follow up of internal and external activities in connection with the licenses.
• Coaching and mentoring team members

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in geophysics or geology and have a minimum of 10-15 years experience especially in regional interpretation and basin scale evaluations. You will also have strong Geophysical Interpretation and Reservoir Characterisation (AVO, inversion) and excellent communication skills.
