OPC is an established consultancy in the upstream Oil & Gas sector supplying the E&P industry with expertise, knowledge and management since 1987. We work globally with major multi nationals, small to medium sized independents and state owned organisations. We provide Projects & Studies, Consultants as well as Technical and commercial training.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Leading Petroleum firm based in the Gulf Region, who is looking for a Geomodeler for an initial 3 month project to work as part of a team.

The project objective is to deliver a report review thorough and comprehensive technical evaluation of subsurface assumptions within the Field Development Plan (FDP).

The major elements of the review will include:

• Database Review of both raw and assumed data
• Review of the Proposed Development Concept, the reservoir model basis, and the associated sub surface uncertainties
• Review of reservoir engineering basis for the reservoir models
• Review of the history match and assumptions for the full field
• Appropriateness of Upscaling Techniques
• Basis for the Reservoir Characterization
• 3D Geological Model construction and uncertainties
• Volumetrics

If you have the relevant technical experience (min 10 years), have worked on Field Development data - ideally, versed in the geology of Middle East Region, are available to take up a project in January 2010, and then please send your resume in the first instance to stuart@opc.co.uk
