 Petroleum Engineer - Houston, TexasI have a new opening for a Petroleum Engineer to be based in Houston working for a Global operator. You will work as part of an integrated operating environment on a range of projects encompassing offshore and onshore oil and gas including unconventional plays. As a Petroleum Engineer you will act between the onshore and offshore production teams. You will need to liaise with both and thus the ability to work with several team across the organisation is essential. Responsibilities include but are not limited to •Supporting daily production of existing wells and well operation guidelines •Injection optimisation and str ategy •Support the execution of new wells and start-up procedures •Optimisation of existing strategies using integrated asset models •Asses reservoir and well performance, make recommendations for production improvement and asses deviations. •Validation and interpretation of surveillance data •Planning and execution of well interventions. •Provide well operating guidelines •Provide input into production forecasting •Provide reviews and input Requirements •Bachelors degree in Science (preferably Petroleum Engineering) •Good grounding in all Petroleum engineering skills •Relevant Petroleum engineering experience •Good understanding of field optimisation. Experience of Waterflood, decline curve analysis and production forecasting would be advantageous. This role is on local terms in Houston, Texas.
