Reservoir Engineer - Contract - England



Our client a leading international Exploration and Production Company currently seeks a high skilled professional to be responsible for reservoir engineering on non-operated fields in the UK North Sea. This position will involve: Managing production forecasts, reserves, field development planning. Generation of simulation models for existing fields, as well support exploration for new wells. Responsible for: performing history matching when required, as well as updates on existing plans of development. Furthermore, the Reservoir Engineer will be required to perform well-test interpretations of existing or new wells as well as reservoir performance predictions, and production optimization through work-over.

Key Accountabilities:

oPlan and execute reservoir engineering aspects of field development.
oUnderstand and effectively integrate multi-disciplinary data to build a reservoir simulation model.
oPerform Reservoir simulation studies for exiting or new fields, optimization of the plan of development of existing or new fields.
oIntegrate well-test, production data into field planning and modelling tools
oOperational follow-up of new wells and integration of Res Eng information into planning.
oPerform/supervise PVT analysis/studies
oManage and document reserves for the Asset Manager/Team Leader

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attributes:

oExperience of work in operating oil/gas company environment.
oEclipse user: eclipse modules including OFFICE, NWM, VFPI, Flogrid, Floviz , Schedule.
oBack-ground on black-oil reservoir simulation and gas/oil field modeling & history matching
oKnowledge in designing, interpreting well tests. Preferable using Kappa-Saphire/Prosper/Weltest
oKnowledge of reservoir engineering data analysis such as PVT, Scal, etc
oUncertainty management and workflows. Preferably to understand experimental design and MEPO assisted history matching tool.
oGeneration & Evaluation of development scenarios
oOperational follow-up of new wells and workovers when required
