 Drilling Engineer - International Operations - DenmarkDrilling Engineer - International Operations Our client is an international operator, with global assets, looking for (senior) drilling engineers for their International Operations department. The Position The successful candidate will take up the position as Drilling Engineer/ Senior Drilling Engineer (depending on experience) within our client's International Drilling Engineering team. You will be reporting to the Drilling Engineering Manager. You will become part of a small team presently consisting of a number of Drilling Engineers with broad technical back grounds, where it is expected that several operations could be ongoing at the same time, either at planning stage or at execution stage. The normal work place will be in our client's office in Denmark, but naturally some travel activities will be required as part of the work. The amount of travel will depend on the actual activity level at any given time. Duties The Drilling Engineer work will entail detailed assistance to the Exploration and New business department, Production Development Department and others as required in evaluations of new business opportunities including cost estimation and all technical drilling related issues. Provide technical input to project teams for new projects undertaken by Corporate Technology and Projects, Developing and maintaining Corporate standards and guidelines for the company. Coordination and liaison of all Drilling related issues of global nature (corporate issues), custodian of knowledge sharing and best practices, ensure global Drilling software coordination and performance benchmarking. Background The individual would preferably have an engineering degree or other higher educational background. Experience in the industry is considered a must, and part of this should be in a capacity as Drilling Engineer. Experience of working on deepwater projects would be greatly advantageous. Personal skills include ability to interact with other disciplines, motivate people, being a good team player and naturally good communication skills.
