 Senior Development Geophysicist - London, EnglandMy client is a medium sized operator based in Central London with a primary focus in the West of Shetlands. They currently require a Senior development Geophysicist to focus on their expanding portfolio. Ideally you will have prior WoS experience or experience from a similar deep water turbidite environment such as W.Africa, GoM or Latin America. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of existing seismic volumes (both 2D and principally 3D) • Recommendation of acquisition parameters for new seismic programmes, and the monitoring of such programmes. ̶ 6; Recommendation of re-processing of existing seismic volumes to: mitigate signal-to-noise, multiple suppression, enhance frequency content etc. Monitoring of such work. • Net pay estimation from seismic via AVO or other amplitude based techniques • Seismic modelling and basic rock physics • Structural interpretations • Depth conversion • Input to static models in PETREL • Sensitivity and uncertainty analysis • Performing risk analysis that will influence the robustness of the project • Planning new wells as part of an integrated team A competetive remuneration package will be provided in accordance with your seniority.
