Drilling supervisors required for extensive multi well offshore drilling programme. Supervising Jack up operations offshore Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage offshore drilling operations safely and efficiently.
• Direct and manage rigsite personnel, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Lead and actively participate in onsite HSE activities, ensure that company and contractor employees comply with and achieve acceptable HSE standards.
• Ensure that drilling operations are performed in compliance with other company standards, government regulations and industry practices.
• Evaluate progress against targets, ensure that any issues are dealt with quickly and smoothly, revising the work plan when required.
• Train, develop and mentor junior employees on the rig. Also provide guidance to third party contractors and other staff as required.
• Manage the emergency response function and be prepared to respond to any issues as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10-15 years experience, ideally with a background in SE Asia.
• Prior experience in Night Drilling Supervisor/Day Drilling Supervisor positions, preferably on platform operations.
• Must have a proven HSE track record, demonstrating an ability to manage operational safety across drilling operations.
• Knowledgeable in quality assurance and quality control for drilling & completion activities.
• Valid certification including IWCF.

Remuneration

A competitive day rate and 28/28 rotation

Min period of engagement 1 year with possibility of extension.
