Summary

Lead Completion Engineer required for multi- well offshore exploration programme reporting to the head of drilling. Involved with the design and supervision of Completions, Pre-Completion Sand control, formation damage and remediation and ESP's.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and execution of Completion and Workover programmes which delivers an efficient operation, safeguarding health and safety of personnel, the environment and the integrity of the company assets for jack-up operations.
  • Assurance of the technical integrity of the operations and compliance with in-country law, corporate international.
  • Help in identifying, preparing AFE and order long lead equipment for Completion and Workover programmes.
  • Delivery of safe and environmentally sound completion engineering solutions
  • Daily Operational Completion Engineering Support to on-going operations.
  • Help with completion of End of Well reports.
  • Plan and Prepare for Continuous Improvement Workshops and close out of actions.
  • Achieving best-in-class performance through the application of performance management practices and driving supplier performance.
  • Participate in Morning Calls, HSE and Continuous Improvement sessions.
  • Providing mentoring to less experienced engineers.
  • Interfacing with subsurface, production and Drilling team to prepare Completion well programs.
  • Attend rig based pre-spuds as required.
  • Participation in Service Company Auditing

Requirements

  • Previous in country residential experience.
  • This is a senior role which requires leadership and direction to drive the programme forward.
  • At least 15 yrs hands on experience with operator working offshore.
  • This is a senior role which requires leadership and direction to drive the programme forward Confident self-starter who can work with minimum supervision and operate successfully within a multicultural team.
  • Experience with drilling operations including safety and productivity aspects.
  • Comfortable with the offshore petroleum environment (jackup rig and production platforms.
  • Experience developing completion procedures and programs for ERD wells

Remuneration

  • A competitive day rate to include accommodation and bonus.
  • Min period of engagement 1 year with possibility of extension.
