Our client is one of the world’s leading independent oil companies and is part of a multi-billion dollar group.

As an operator the company has producing assets and substantial reserves across several continents. The company has an aggressive and well funded EAME new ventures division and is constantly reviewing and acquiring new license opportunities.

We now seek a serious heavy-weight exploration New Ventures Geologist to take on this key and very autonomous role, providing new ideas, steering and vision to board level. You will not work on existing projects, but bring new play concepts, & your own ideas to the table. Your focus area will run from the Alpine region of central Europe through to Iran, central Asia and the Middle East.

Technically excellent, you will have at least 15+years experience, including, direct negotiation with 3rd parties, prospect generation, volumetrics, risking and economics.
