Our client is an integrated services company with a global presence. We currently have an instruction to recruit two Senior Project Geoscientists for both the London and the European office. The Company provides a wide range of innovative solutions for 3D reservoir characterization. These solutions are based on an integrated, high-tech approach, using quantitative techniques such as seismic inversion, geological modelling, rock physics, velocity modelling, and inversion. Your key responsibility will be to undertake integrated, quantitative reservoir characterization projects based on this technology.

Depending upon experience, the scope of your involvement will range from execution of work assignments within such projects, to independently defining and managing integrated multidisciplinary projects. In all positions, you will be involved with applying leading edge reservoir characterization technologies.

Other key responsibilities will be:

• Provide technical support for Business Managers, including design of service projects and technical presentations to clients.
• Provide technical support for software sales.
• Develop, mentor and coach junior geophysical staff.

Experience

The position requires a minimum of 5 years industry experience in one or more of the following fields:

• Reservoir Characterization
• Geological Modelling
• Seismic Inversion
• Geostatistical Modelling
• Rock Physics
• Seismic Interpretation

Creativity and demonstrable problem-solving skills, often associated with an advanced degree, are key attributes.
