Robertson Geologging Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of slim-hole wireline logging equipment used in geotechnical, mineral and oil/gas exploration and development.

Based in Deganwy, North Wales, we have branch offices in the USA and Hong Kong and operate globally. As a result of a major recent expansion of our oilfield tool business, we have immediate vacancies for technical support engineers within our Operations Group.

Job Description

• Testing and QA of wireline logging tools at UK base
• Assisting R&D Group in testing of prototype tools and software
• Client training
• Commissioning/ support (UK and overseas)

Qualifications and skills

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics or geophysics
• Practical skills in electronics
• Experience of field operations ideally in a logging or seismic environment
• Good computer literacy
• Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently
• Outgoing personality and willingness to adapt to different cultures
• EC residence or possession of valid work permit
• EC driving licence
