We're a company with energy. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable geoscientist to work in the Exploration Team in Santos' Jakarta office. Growth in Indonesia is one of Santos' key strategies. This is being achieved by development of existing assets like the Maleo and Peluang fields in Madura Offshore PSC, and the Oyong and Wortel fields in Sampang PSC within East Java, which has provided a solid foundation for development of Santos' business in Indonesia. As the Geoscience & New Ventures Team Leader in Santos Indonesia you will have responsibility for technical leadership of all conventional Exploration and New Ventures geoscience work undertaken in the Jakarta office. Santos' current conventional assets in Indonesia comprise two operated permits in East Java (Sampang PSC and Madura Offshore PSC) and one non-operated permit in Papua (Warim PSC). In addition to these conventional assets Santos also has 4 unconventional CBM permits in South Sumatra and has recently commenced an extensive exploration drilling program in this area (responsibility for the CBM program falls under the CBM Geoscience Team Leader). Santos has an ambitious growth strategy in Indonesia and your role as the Geoscience and New Ventures Team Leader is to successfully deliver conventional growth to Santos Indonesia.
