Technical Advisor
Reservoir Engineering Tools, Techniques & Workflows

South East England

The chance to shape and deliver functional excellence
with a leading international operator

A key player in the global energy market, our client is a dynamic growing business with operations in more than 25 countries over five continents. The company is one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the North Sea with an exciting international portfolio and is recognised as a key innovator and influencer in the industry.

Our client is looking to recruit an expert Reservoir Engineer to join its Head Office function as Technical Advisor in a role that will strongly impact the continued development of Reservoir Engineering capabilities across the business. Key requirement will include assisting the Head of Reservoir Engineering in delivering a functional excellence agenda as well as driving the development and implementation of new, state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose tools, techniques and workflows across the Reservoir Engineering domain.

Suitable candidates will be experienced, 'hands-on' Reservoir Engineers, with a demonstrable track record of success in a wide variety of upstream oil & gas projects, gained in several key provinces around the world. Ideally, you will already be highly experienced in the application of industry standard Reservoir Engineering tools, techniques, software and workflows, with expertise in technical mentoring, coaching and training delivery.

This is a newly created permanent staff role that will appeal most to someone who is keen to retain an element of hands-on work whilst providing and promoting a technical advisory service. You will have the chance to work across the business and at the highest level; therefore visibility and responsibility will be great. As a 'fastest implementer' of new technologies, the company adopts new developments as soon as they are shown to be viable and you will enjoy a huge amount of influence in this regard.

Supported by an energised, dynamic, project driven environment, offering plenty of variety, you will be well placed to take advantage of future career development options across the company's exciting global portfolio.

Remuneration:           A comprehensive and attractive remuneration package is available, including flexible                                   benefits and relocation assistance if appropriate.

Location:                   South East England. Some travel will be required, for periodic visits to upstream assets.
