Senior Integrity Engineer
Staff Position, Aberdeen, Scotland
Our client, a global oilfield provider of engineered services and products seeks a Senior Integrity Engineer. This is a staff role to be based in their Aberdeen office.
We are searching for someone with previous strong experience as a Senior Integrity Engineer You will be degree qualified in an engineering related discipline preferably chartered. Lesser qualifications will be accepted provided exceptional experience in inspection engineering can be demonstrated. You'll need extensive experience in the field of plant and equipment in-service inspection. You must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of design, manufacture, materials, corrosion, welding, codes, standards and legislation associated with the in-service inspection of plant and equipment and you must be familiar with QA/QC practices, NDE techniques. You will also need to be able to generate a team approach to problem solving and an excellent communicator.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
- Responsible for the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated installation to ensure that plant and equipment is certified in accordance with client and client's clients codes of practice, strategies and legislation ensuring feedback of results to client Asset Group.
- Responsible for maintaining positive communications with client's client and ensuring adequate coverage by team at client's client offices. Manage Inspection Team in line with direction from Lead Engineer.
- Ensuring Regulatory and Client standard compliance.
- Pro-active client's client facing role in both client and client's client office environments. Liaising with client's client Integrity lead to give visibility of asset Integrity status.
- Supporting Lead Engineer (LE) in managing asset Integrity management teams to ensure Consistent service provision to Client.
- Supporting LE in management of client's contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management.
- Supporting LE in production of client's Monthly Performance Management Report in line with client's client template.
- Responsible for the production and ongoing management of the Installations Annual Inspection Plans and Field Planning compliance.
- Assisting in the development of appropriate annual budget and manage the CTR (Cost, Time & Resource) process.
- Responsible for suitability and technical content of the Integrity Management Written Schemes for appropriate Topside Pressure Systems.
- Accountable for the technical content and scheduling of the Asset's inspection plans for topsides pressure systems and Structural elements.
- Accountable for liaising with the client's client Planners to ensure timely execution of the defined inspection plan, co-ordinating with Maintenance and Site Teams as required.
- Discipline lead for inspection, including recommendations from inspection anomalies and failures for pressure systems. Provide support to Structural Engineer as required.
- Providing support to Verification activities related to applicable Performance Standards.
- Assisting with the implementation of an Integrity Risk Management Process, aligned to the Client Risk Management Process.
- Ensuring effective data management and visibility within ACET.
- Responsible for inspection / integrity input to platform Turnaround (TAR) Programmes.
- Providing support to ensure suitable risk based fabric maintenance plans exist.
- Responsible for compliance with relevant Site Technical Practices (STP's), Strategy Documents and Safety Management System (SMS) documents.
- Responsible for implementing the IQ/RO process and managing with Client representatives.
- Maintaining appropriate level of contact with Asset Teams and 3rd Parties to ensure an effective Inspection Corrosion Management (ICM) service.
- Endorsing inspection reports to ensure they comply with the relevant client STP's and client's procedures.
- Promoting and ensuring the effective application of new non-invasive techniques and specialist technologies to limit intrusive inspection so as to maximise inspection intervals.
- Providing management, guidance and direction to client's support personnel for the effective execution of the contract, including interfaces with Structural, Pipeline and Pressure Systems Engineers.
- Assisting the LE to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service.
All work to be carried out in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
