IT Financial & Supplier Manager
Fixed Term Contract Position - Jubail, Saudi Arabia

ROLE OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION
Our client, a blue chip global consultancy, is looking for a IT Financial & Supplier Manager due to increased workloads at a prestigious client in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role would suit someone who has previously worked in Saudi Arabia or who is willing to commit to their first posting in the region. It offers a great chance for someone to enter the consultancy sector and as such should be regarded as a chance to gain experience and a foothold. If your sole motivation is to make money tax free then this isn't for you. Please note that to be considered for this role candidates must be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
IT Financial Planning
- Developing budget forecasts and managing the IT organization's annual budget
- Advising user departments on the IT aspects of their departmental budgets
- Preparing regular reports on expenditure and conformance to budget forecasts, and implementing remedial actions to correct budget exceptions
- Assisting with the production of business cases and cost benefit analyses for proposed changes to IT services
- Developing suitable costing, accounting and charging models and setting charging rates
- Producing invoices / notional costing statements
- Advising management and project teams on the cost-effectiveness of IT solutions
- Supporting other IT Service Management processes with IT investment planning, especially Change, Capacity and Availability Management
- Selecting suitable tools to support the Financial Management process
- Providing assistance to internal and external auditors
Supplier Management
- Providing assistance in the development of SLAs or other documents for third party suppliers
- Ensuring that any SLAs developed are aligned with those of the business
- Ensuring all roles and relationships between lead and any sub-contracted suppliers are documented and maintained
- Reviewing lead suppliers processes to ensure that any sub-contracted suppliers are meeting their contractual obligations
- Performing regular contract and/or SLA reviews
- Updating contracts or SLAs when required, ensuring that internal change management processed are followed
- Maintaining a process for dealing with contractual disputes, and ensuring that any disputes are dealt with in an efficient and effective manner
- Maintaining a process for dealing with the expected end, early end or transfer of a service
- Monitoring and reviewing supplier performance against targets, identifying improvement actions as appropriate and ensuring these actions are implemented
ROLE REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be educated to at least Bachelor degree level
- ITIL qualification, preferably to v3
- Candidates must be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken
ROLE REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 3 years in an IT Financial Manager and/or Supplier Management role, preferably dealing with government organisations
- Experience of working within a consultancy organisation would be an advantage
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- The ability to work to deadlines, sometimes under pressure
ROLE CONTRACT DURATION & RATE
- This will be a fixed term contract, initially for 12 months
- Sponsorship and visas to work in KSA will be provided
- Salary will be to $120k p.a
