Service Continuity Manager
Fixed Term Contract Position - Jubail, Saudi Arabia

ROLE OVERVIEW & DESCRIPTION
Our client, a blue chip global consultancy, is looking for a IT Financial & Supplier Manager due to increased workloads at a prestigious client in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
This role would suit someone who has previously worked in Saudi Arabia or who is willing to commit to their first posting in the region. It offers a great chance for someone to enter the consultancy sector and as such should be regarded as a chance to gain experience and a foothold. If your sole motivation is to make money tax free then this isn't for you.
Please note that to be considered for this role candidates must be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
The Service Continuity Manager will be responsible for the management and operation of two main processes:
- IT Service Continuity Management
- Information Security Management
IT Service Continuity Management responsibilities:
- Performing Business Impact Analyses
- Performing Risk Analyses
- Developing and maintaining the organization's IT Service Continuity Strategy
- Assessing potential IT service continuity issues and invoking the IT Service Continuity Plan if necessary
- Managing the IT Service Continuity Plan while it is in operation, including failover to a secondary location and restoration to the primary location
- Deciding when the IT Service Continuity Plan can be revoked
- Performing post mortem reviews of IT service continuity issues, and producing reports and recommendations for amendments to the IT Service Continuity Plan
Information Security Management responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the Security Policy
- Identifying and classifying assets (Configuration Items) to be protected
- Assisting with Business Impact Analyses
- Performing security risk analyses
- Designing security controls and developing the Security Plan
- Developing and documenting procedures for operating and maintaining security controls, monitoring for security breaches and handling Security Incidents
- Receiving and handling new notifications of security patches and security vulnerabilities
- Ensuring that the Security Patch Management Database is maintained
- Monitoring, tracking and communicating the progress of security patches and security vulnerabilities
- Promoting education and awareness of security
- Regularly auditing security controls and procedures
- Assessing Change requests for security aspects. Attendance at CAB meetings when appropriate
- Performing security tests
- Participating in any security reviews arising from a security breach
- Participating in any disciplinary actions arising from security breaches
ROLE REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be educated to at least Bachelor degree level
- ITIL qualification, preferably to v3
- Candidates must be fluent in Arabic, both written and spoken
ROLE REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must be able to demonstrate at least 3 years in an Service Continuity Manager role, preferably dealing with government organisations
- Experience of working within a consultancy organisation would be an advantage
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- The ability to work to deadlines, sometimes under pressure
ROLE CONTRACT DURATION & RATE
- This will be a fixed term contract, initially for 12 months
- Sponsorship and visas to work in KSA will be provided
- Salary will be to $120k p.a
