Experienced Geophysical Software Developer

Staff Position, United States



Scout is currently on the lookout for an experienced Software Developer with strong academic and professional Geosciences background to take advantage of an excellent opportunity within a leading independent US software house.

You will need:

  • Geosciences/Physics MSc/PhD.
  • Object-Orientated programming in C/C++ etc.
  • Seismic/Geophysics software;
  • Open Source web-technologies, e.g. MySQL/PHP
  • Relation database design methodology
  • Experience of Common Geoscience Applications/Workflows/Data types
  • UNIX/Linux/Free BSD/Darwin exp.
